The Blissfield Public Works Dept. will be conducting a village-wide flushing of water hydrants, from Monday, June 15 until Friday, June 19, to remove sediment that accumulates in the water lines. The flushing will be conducted between the hours of 11:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. each day to minimize any inconvenience to customers. During the hydrant flushing, residents may notice the water has a rusty appearance. The water is safe to use and drink. Residents should check the color of the water before doing laundry. If the water is rusty, run the cold water for a short time to clear the lines. If you have any questions, please contact the Village Office at 486-4347.
