Four Keys Brewing

Four Keys is more than a pun derived from the owners Ben & Lindsey Forche’s pronunciation of their last name, but also the four key ingredients in beer; water, malt, hops, and yeast. Four Keys brewing is a 2 barrel nano, taproom brewery located within Starling Lounge in downtown Blissfield. Their beers are brewed on-site and served from the bar they share with their coffee shop. You can expect to see a variety of ales including America’s #1 craft beer style, the IPA; as well as porters, stouts, spiced beers, and more. Visit their website or Facebook for more information.

Ypsi Alehouse

In 1982 Ted Badgerow opened The Real Ale Company in Chelsea, MI with his then partner; which was 1 of less than 50 breweries in the U.S. and was the third one in Michigan. While ultimately The Real Ale Company closed its doors several years later; Michigan brewers and craft beer drinkers were thrilled when Ted and partner David Roberts opened Ypsi Alehouse in 2016. While the industry has changed over the years, Ted’s passion and ability to create delicious brews did not. Ypsi Alehouse offers a tasty variety of brews from their popular Blue Racer to Wheat Heart. You can find them in the historic Hotel Huron that dates back to the 1920’s on Pearl St in Ypsilanti, MI. Visit them on Facebook or their website for more information.

Broken Barrel Ciderhouse

Broken Barrel Ciderhouse offers ciders crafted at their Michigan orchard (Bennett’s Orchard), they press only apples they grow. They have standard trees dating back to the 1930’s still producing antique varieties perfect for our hard cider blend. Come try some of their delicious cider at our Blissfield on Tap event. Visit their website or Facebook page for more information.

Bløm Mead & Cider

At Bløm Meadworks (pronounced “bloom”), they make session meads and ciders. Lauren & Matt took their passion for food and brews and moved to their homestate to open Bløm Meadworks. They start with the same ingredients as a traditional mead – honey, water and yeast – of course sourced from Michigan. Unlike most meads though, they ferment it like a dry craft cider, so the result isn’t nearly as thick or sweet as traditional mead. For more information visit their website or check them out on Facebook.

Inside the Five Brewing Company

Inside the Five Brewing Company was founded in 2018 by former NFL players Chris Morris, Brandon Fields and his wife Katie Fields. Lean Times

Ann Arbor band, Lean Times, are a musical nod to vintage soul and R&B, with a twist of late 90’s garage/indie rock. A sparse outfit that features lead soul man and songwriter Tavey Lean with a crack band of indie stalwarts on guitar, bass and drums performing Tavey’s original tunes.
