In June 2024, Blissfield proudly celebrated its achievement as the 72nd community in Michigan—and the 2nd in Lenawee County—to earn Redevelopment Ready Certification. This milestone reflects Blissfield’s commitment to both its community and the state, as it actively participates in the Michigan Mainstreet program and partners with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
