Village Treasurer
The Village Treasurer is an appointed position. The Treasurer was changed from elected to appointed in 2019. The Treasurer serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Village and is responsible for the administration and supervision of all financial aspects of the Village, including budget preparation assistance and monitoring, accounting, financial planning and investments. The Village Treasurer is also responsible for collection of property taxes and all other revenue paid to the Village, coordinating audits, and other financial and treasury duties.
How To Make A Payment?
Check and Money Order payments can be mailed to Village Hall at 130 S. Lane Street P.O Box 129, Blissfield, Michigan 49228.
In Person/Drop Off
Check, Cash, and Credit/Debit Card payments can be made in person at Village Hall at 130 S. Lane Street, Blissfield, Michigan 49228. The Village has a drop off box for after hours or day time drop off located at the end of the Police Department Garage/Back of Village Hall. Drop offs will be retrieved by 10 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
Online/Credit Card Payments
Online/Credit Card payments are available. There is a processing fee of 3% which will be applied to all Credit/Debit Cards and electronic checks. You can go here (https://bsaonline.com/?uid=784)
